Adore Corsets came to Feel Design looking for a rebrand and new website to replace their old one which was outdated – running on the Actinic platform – and suffered from poor Google results and consequently low sales online. The new site is designed to be cleaner, more appealing to the target audience and be easier to use, showing off products more attractively with larger photos. We integrated social media and set up a Facebook page to encourage interaction and promotion online. Future plans include boosting Google performance and other features to add excitement to the website.

After having worked with Cundall Manor School for many years, we were asked to look at further developing the site and adding new features, which would help the staff deal with information delivery to a growing audience of parents as the school had expanded to include an upper school with intake going up to 16 years old.

We developed a more complex site layout, rebuilding from the ground up, and adding a registration area for parents enabling them to edit their details, adding children’s ages which in turn sent newsletters to them that could be targeted to a year group. The login area also includes a homework download area and information section that is accessible only to parents. Working with Javan Liam photography over a 12 month period the whole school year was documented. A brochure is also in production.

Their son, Father Peter O’Neill, is a Franciscan priest who has worked in Central America for over 25 years. The funds raised by AVOCA go towards social and environmental projects to help Central Americans improve their quality of life. They came to Feel Design looking for a new website to give them content management and social media integration. We are proud to support many charities.

Buy Sell My Tickets is a website developed for a long term Feel Design client specialising in the ticket industry – supplying sports, music, festival and theatre tickets. The site has a complex back end that enables the user to place their own tickets for sale, specifying the seat type etc. The site fits in with a number of other ones built for the client to cover various areas of their business. Compliance and legal issues were of paramount importance, as was customer security. Search engine optimisation was carried out over a long period before launch with a blog, the content being designed to boost site performance on launch. Due to the nature of the ticket business, this, as all the other tickets sites we have built, needs to be robust enough to cope with huge number of people buying in a very small window of time on release day. It is the robust quality of our system and our customer service that has seen this client work with Feel Design since 2003.

Site launches 25th July 2011 and will be built upon over a period after this – adding in many new features.

Crakehall Watermill is a working watermill with bed and breakfast and holiday cottages in beautiful Bedale in Yorkshire. They needed a new website for the bed and breakfast and watermill and a second site for the cottages and caravan side of their business. We developed these – and a leaflet and arranged photography with Morgan Photography of Knaresborough. The website needed to be clean, match their branding in terms of decor, and perform well in google. We worked, as we have done many times with Gareth Dant of Maximedia on the copy and marketing for the site, integrating social media into the website.

We have been working with Priory Cottages since 2008 when we designed their logo and branding during early building stages on their properties. They have seven beautiful cottages and a barn used as a wedding venue and corporate meeting venue. We took photography at various stages during the development, documenting it as the old historical building was meticulously restored.

We initially built a simple site – later redeveloping it into a more complex site with booking facilities. In 2011 the came back to us, with the business having grown and changed, with more emphasis on the wedding side of the business, requiring a more advanced site, and further focus, on a separate site, for the wedding venue in the barn, and online payment for bookings. We integrated social media and added a news area and will be working with them to boost Google ranking. The separate wedding site is being launched in the autumn of 2011.

Cheerful Soles came to us with a website that was not selling as many products as they wanted, and as we were working with one of the partners families on another job which incorporated search engine optimisation Feel Design were the obvious choice to help them. We gave them advice on tweaking the design of their Magento based shopping system and created content for the site and blog and set up a link building campaign.

Visits, and , more crucially, their online sales greatly increased over the first 6 months and a smaller maintenance contract for SEO continues. Further work with their other online businesses is planned.

I am really pleased with the results that I have seen having engaged the services of Feel Design for 6 months. Using someone who is experienced at article writing and targeting key words has helped to increase traffic to my website an in turn boosted sales. Most importantly I have learned more about Search Engine Optimisation and our meetings have helped me to understand how I can continue to build on improved natural search positions for key words relevant to my sector. The friendly approach to business and ability to pick up the phone to chat through things only adds to the appeal of using Feel Design for a small business like ours.

Clad Safety came to Feel Design in a slightly unusual way. Once of the team turned up at our door looking for a company who had been based in our building 10 years before but had never updated their details on the web, but we had their new address so invited Clad in and gave it to them. They remembered we were a design firm and when they relocated down the road in Knaresborough they called up us to replace their old web site. A new site was quickly built, with a full content management system, and capability of search engine optimisation and interlinked with their Apparel stock control and ordering system.

Prediction Magazine, a psychic publication dealing with horoscopes, tarot, myths and magic asked Feel Design to redevelop their website to replace the one built by their old publishers, allowing then easy updating and more control. We built a content managed website, building in advertising and a classified ad system.

Advice and training in SEO and social media were given, and the site integrated with Twitter and Facebook social media links and feeds. A custom theme was developed to deliver the website on mobile platforms, meaning iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android users on the move could get a text only version of the site automatically.

The magazine staff were amazed at the ease of use and flexibility of the admin and how effective it was in optimising for Google, something their old system lacked completely. Ecommerce is being added soon, as well as many other new features.

Looks great!!!

Thanks also for taking the time to explain everything so clearly to us!

You’re the bee’s knees!

We built Midgley Motors first site in mid 2009, working with Santos Design, creating them a web presence for their business selling cars and motorhomes and servicing them. The original site integrated with Dragon, a car database system to show their stock. Over the next 2 years, as their business expanded, we added sections onto the website and set up search engine optimisation, greatly increasing traffic to the site. In 2011 they came to Feel Design looking to redevelop the website giving them more control to add cars outside of the Dragon system which did not show them in as appealing manner as required. We developed a fully content managed system, also building an ecom area to sell spare parts.

Mulgrave Estate came to us in 2009, looking to set up a web presence - showing their properties and holiday cottages online and to redevelop their brand identity. As a business renting and selling their properties they needed a place to showcase them and were aware they had no website at all and needed guidance and support to get this going.

We built a simple website initially, revisiting it in 2011 to add a directory of properties, making it easier to add on the commercial and residential property and to extend the website as they had grown to see the increased importance of the internet in their day to day business. We are also providing social media and SEO training.

Robert Smart, an established menswear and fashion business in historic York came to Feel Design in 2008 looking to build a website to make their web presence more up to date and dynamic. We initially developed 3 websites for their 3 branches, then added a fourth blog site to build information and interest in the brands they sold. An SEO strategy build up the number of visits to the sites greatly. We then combined all the sites into a new, integrated platform, adding ecommerce. Photography we have taken has improved the visual look of their business online and boosted sales.

Over the last few days I’ve had the opportunity to review the new website in detail and can I say firstly how good it looks, how interesting and exciting the content is and the seamless linkage between pages and the blog section make it very easy to navigate around and explore. Thanks for all your hard work and effort and I think the site looks brilliant! Customers who have been in the shops after googling brands in York have mentioned the website specifically.

It was set up as a response to The Adey family having had to see their son Kristian suffer while in hospital following a serious illness. Feel Design are proud to be involved in the project, having worked with Maralyn and Alvin from the initial concept stages of the name, logo and website. We will continue to be involved, working with them to gain publicity and support. Please read the information on the website and if you think you can help then contact LDHS. Something tells us 2011 could be a far better year than predicted, let’s hope we’re not wrong!

Goldsborough Hall came to Feel Design looking for a local company to redevelop their web presence - making it easier to update as it was currently managed in house by one person and required html knowledge to make changes. We redeveloped the site, building a specific wedding area to build on that side of their business and produced a design that made the most of their stunning photographs. We also integrated the elements of social media and news they needed to publicise events and services.

2010 has been a very busy year for us, we’ve run 176 projects, building 93 websites so far since January! As our financial year draws to a close at the end of this month we are moving our accounting system away from Sage, which we have used since 2002, to FreeAgent an online accounting system. This will be a lot more efficient for us – allowing email invoicing, simple repeating billing and online payments. This will tie in with our new monthly billing system for hosting and domains and SEO payments, all by standing order, meaning simple, easy and affordable hosting for everyone with no big annual bill, just small monthly payments to cover everything.

2011 looms ahead of us, but work is already booked in for January and we have some projects scheduled to take us as far as Easter, along with ongoing SEO contracts. We’re feeling pretty confident about the economy, seeing plenty of clients growing and expanding!

Here is a really interesting article on Facebook Business Pages Demystified for Business Owners

Facebook is so popular that business owners can simply no longer consider it a site only appropriate for socializing and game playing. In fact, in September 2010, Facebook surpassed Google in regards to the amount of time users spent on their site. Facebook states that users spend over 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook!

With 500 million active users, Facebook is the new behemoth on the Web. With its popularity across diverse age groups, integrated email application, and new Bing search integration, a Facebook user may simply no longer need to visit Google for Web searches or log off to use an email application. They may be able to experience the Web fully all from inside Facebook. With more than 50% of the active users logging into Facebook every day, according to Facebook, Facebook is now so important to your potential customers’ lives that it makes sense for you as a business owner to have a presence where your prospects are hanging out on a daily basis.

Let’s clear up a few things that have confused business owners about Facebook. First, a Business Page is not to be confused with a personal profile. They are two separate entities and provide different options and ways to interact with friends and colleagues.

Are Business Pages Also Called Fan Pages?

Many of you who have been using Facebook for a while will remember that Facebook used to call Business Pages – Fan Pages. Additionally, it used to be that someone “fanned you.” Now they “like you.” Don’t get confused in thinking that a Fan Page is a different product than a Business Page – they are one and the same.

All Facebook Business Pages start with the set-up of a personal Facebook profile. That’s right, a personal profile! You can’t just jump to Business Page set up. The email address and name you use for your personal profile must be one tied to a person and not a catchall email like info@mydomain.com. Remember, that if you have an employee set up your Facebook account and the personal profile portion for your Business Page, you don’t want to tie the new account to the employee’s email address. If the employee does so and leaves your employ, you could lose access to your Facebook Business Page, all of your accumulated fans, and information without recourse.

Jennifer approached Feel Design in 2006 to ask us create a logo and website for a new hat company she was setting up in Harrogate. We had worked with Jennifer since the previous year on training and other projects.

The logo was developed to give a sense of sophistication. This identity was then used in stationery, postcards and a unique “calling card” of a folding business card with small photos held inside with ribbon.

The logo was also used on stickers, ribbons and packaging for the hats. It was important that the image of the product reflected the quality and individuality of the products and their target audience.

The website allows users to browse for hats to buy or hire, with a CMS allowing Adorn to add new products as they become available. We worked with RWPUK[www.rwpuk.com] of Harrogate to get the images of the products. The site is now undergoing a transition to extend it – adding new features and bringing it up to date with social media and a larger display and full ecommerce.

We were thrilled with the branding and logo that Feel Design created for us, it really set the scene for our business, it was elegant, simple and well thought through, which reflects the types of products we sell. We are often complimented on our business cards come mini portfolio and they have, I am sure, bought us lots of customers.

The website offers us the perfect shop window it reflects our brand, provides us with an upmarket and clear showcase in which to display our hats and accessories to their full potential. We love that we can update the site in every way and are able to keep in touch with our customers.

They came to Feel Design looking to update an existing site that they could not change themselves to add news pieces etc and looked a little dated. They had some amazing photography so we set about building a site using this and their Farrow and Ball colour scheme. We added a news section, a blog, reviews and information on their rooms.

Just a quick note to say we are absolutely delighted with the new website- thank you very much! I have spent some time this morning on the posts- so you will see I have managed to update the site- and your were quite right, it was easy!!

The original site we built in 2005 no longer reflected the companies work and portfolio. Further to this, they also wanted to increase their Google presence, and the old site was based on Flash, and they wanted to be able to update the site themselves. 2 new sites were developed, a main one and a site to promote their stand design. A further two sites are being built for them to promote other aspects of the business. We are also developing an SEO strategy for them.

Newby Hall, a stately home and gardens near Ripon, had a website that had become out of date, didn’t show off their beautiful gardens and wasn’t easy to update. They asked Feel Design to redevelop their website, adding ecommerce and an easy to use content management system. We went to task, building the site and creating many new areas for the site, working with their in-house team to get it ready in time. A blog was added for the head gardener to tell people about developments in that area and news sections for events and exhibitions. We also linked in and expanded their burgeoning social media strategy. Future plans include video to attract visitors, and photography to further enhance the site.

Calverts Carpets, an established local business had a website that was not bringing in customers, and wanted to increase trade via the site. Feel Design were approached to take the existing site and build upon it.

This was done quickly, and soon after we were asked to provide more pages and photography to enhance the site. A video was also filmed, to showcase their products and a gallery of all their main ranges created. The website has then been expanded to include Ecommerce to sell rugs and more.

Print design was then undertaken to produce a leaflet to advertise the Malton store. Our print work for them has continued with regular print runs of leaflets to advertise offers and new stores.

It became immediately apparent to Calverts that the number of visits on the new site vastly outweighed the previous websites visitors. This was also backed up by customers calling or e-mailing directly from the website, claiming it as a reason for initiating contact giving Calverts confidence in web as a media and something to be built on.

“We have been really impressed with the way Feel Design have interpreted our requirements. They have produced for us a website which is slick and gets across to our customers what we are all about. From our web stats we have definately had an increase in awareness and people repeat visiting our website. James is very good at giving different ideas and completed our site on schedule, highly recommended !”

Cundall Manor School is situated in a magnificent 50 acre site in the vale of York, between Ripon and Thirsk. The old Cundall site was out of date and had little information on it, and required updating and the addition of new features such as a calendar of events and a newsletter for parents.

Feel Design took the existing design and built upon it, using existing photography and new text – providing more information for prospective parents, and for existing ones.

A calendar system was added to allow easy access to the weeks or months events and a newsletter, enabling parents to subscribe to newsletter information specific to their children’s year group. A high percentage of parents have subscribed and feedback has been very positive.

Feel Design also filmed, in conjunction with another company, MartinGary Productions [http://www.martingary.co.uk/] a video for the website and as a DVD, showing aspects of the school day and ethos, working with a range of people associated with the school to provide voiceover and interview material. Gary Lawson, from the company has now left MartinGary and has become part of the Feel Design team, working on shooting phase 2 of the project.

The site underwent a redesign in September 2008 – a year after launch to reflect the growing content and moving on with an ongoing development process. A new version of the site is now underway, with updated content and a parents/childrens area and ecommerce shop for uniform.

We are also working on a brochure to promote the school with Javan Liam Photography.

After 3 years we have finally found the time to redesign our website. The new site is built using the same Content Management System we use for most of our clients websites and allows us to easily update – adding news and portfolio pieces and will reflect the changing face of our work.

Over the last 9 years we’ve built nearly 500 sites for our clients so it’s been a hard task to sift through and cut back on our old portfolio, concentrating on newer work, but keeping in work from a few years ago that we are still proud of!

So begins Once Upon A World, a delightful series of animated Bible stories for children narrated by John Le Mesurier.

With stories selected from the Old and New Testaments, the fresh clear style of writer/illustrator Robert Duncan combines superbly with the wry and gentle humour of the late John Le Mesurier, one of Britain’s most distinctive and loved voices, best known for his portrayal of Sergeant Wilson in Dad’s Army.

Interactive Learning Resources

The schools support pack will include the DVD of interactive stories, with information ‘hotspots’ embedded, a book and CD-ROM with learning materials to print. Each story will have associated interactive whiteboard learning materials, National Curriculum information, lesson plans for Key Stage 1 and 2 and worksheets to print off to support classroom activities.

Additional purchases will include figures of the animated characters for children to use in storytelling sessions in Literacy to retell the stories.

Allerton Park had an existing website that had not been updated for some time and was in need of a revamp.

Feel Design were approached, as a company very local to the grounds, and with some contacts with the organisation, to redevelop the site.

On a small budget the site was redesigned and put into a state where updates could be made quickly by ourselves, adding advertising banners as a further revenue stream for the event. The site has continued to be expanded, adding full content management so that the PR team at Allerton can manage it daily. We have also assisted in a Social Media campaign.

Feel Design are proud to be involved with the event as a sponsor and wish all the contestants the best of luck!

As a new company looking for identity design, print and web development, Ruth Dowswell needed to know she was working with a company she could trust. Asking around she was directed to us by a customer who had been working with Feel Design, in various businesses since 2002, both for companies he had worked for and for his own business ventures.

Ruth met with Feel Design and a rapport was quickly developed, as was a logo based on her ideas for the childcare venture. A website and stationery was developed very quickly to promote the business, and once running, a web video, further print work, and a more advanced website with newsletter system, online calendar and content management is planned.

Clover House have been Feel Design clients since 2001, and have relied on us for web support and advice. 3 sites have been designed, the second to coincide with their redesign of the interior of the practice.

“We wanted James to do a good job, so we agreed that if he did we wouldn’t reach for the forceps………..He still has his teeth!!”
Jonathan Pimley Clover House

The website was then redeveloped again in 2009, adding many new pages and a web video and new photography. An SEO campaign was started in 2010, bringing a 100% increase in traffic and very measurable results with many new clients coming through the website and using the newsletter system we created for them.

“I am writing to let you know how delighted we are with the work you have done for us over the last 10 years.

We have always found you and your team to be very helpful, always giving sound advice. Work is carried out promptly and any issues are always resolved efficiently.

Recently you have worked on improving our search ratings. The results have been fantastic, with our website consistently ranked at the top. We are receiving more enquiries from the website than ever before.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Feel Design to anyone looking to establish a web presence, except maybe other dentists – I wouldn’t want too much direct competition!”

We were asked to develop a website in conjunction with Mode for York University, York St John University College, Askham Bryan College and York College to provide information to students about York. The project initially begain in 2005 with phase 1 of the site – and then another development was added to reflect the growth of the organisation in 2009.

The site has various sections which can be updated by the client, and enables students to search for information relating to both student life in and around York and courses available within the area. A staff section allows all staff across the various faculties to share information within secure areas.

Feel Design worked alongside Mode, a York based graphic design company who provided the identity and photography work, both companies liaised with the client and Feel Design have continued to maintain and expand the website alongside Higher York as the project has progressed. We have added a comprehensive back end area over a 12 month project to enable the team at Higher York to develop the courses they offer to businesses, managing enquiries and courses.

Vinny Peculiar are a long term client of Feel Design, having had several sites produced over the duration of the band.

In 2009 a new site was required to showcase the new iteration of the band which in the past has included members of The Smiths, Aztec Camera, Oasis and The Fall amongst others. A simpler site was developed as over the years changes had accumulated into a bloated site which was difficult to navigate.

A video was shot – with many old band members, in a cafe in Manchester to promote the album.

As a new business, setting up to provide an online directory of wedding providers in the UK, Wedding Talk were directed to Feel Design as a company who could help them build the identity and website from the ground up.

We began by meeting for a consultation, discussing ideas relating to the look and feel and the technological and logistic issues of such a project.

Having produced a logo, we then set out building a website to allow them to advertise businesses in various categories and physical areas – and then expanding the site to allow users to log in and create personalised supplier listings. The website continued to develop over the next 2 years, growing as their business aims grew.

We were asked to replace the existing, outdated site – initially with a temporary site, then creating an easily updatable site with e-commerce.

The Royal Artillery Museum had a website that had become outdated, and in need of replacement, requiring it to be easily updatable, accessible and to bring the image up to date. Photography was commissioned through our contacts in London, and the site look redesigned.

The development went in 2 stages – as the site needed redeveloping at short notice a freelance developer was used to build a back end structure and e-commerce system, which was then replaced with Feel Design’s internally developed CMS allowing more functionality and the reliability required for a busy e-commerce and information site. Phase 2 involved the construction of a more advanced e-commerce system, capable of tracking orders and managing customers information to enable mailshots to be sent by a customised e-mail newsletter system. The aim of this was to reduce the money and time spent on posting out newsletters. Orders could also be analysed by the website back end- enabling the accounts department to see at a glance their takings in each category over a given period of time, among other reports. A news calendar system was also created and customised to Firepower’s requirements.

Training was given to both The Royal Artillery Museum staff and their PR agency, and built in tutorials were created for our CMS to enable the large team involved to work on the site without having to rely on cascade learning. Future plans include expanding site functionality and multimedia education tools.

Graphic identity created for a new Pawnbroking business, based in Yorkshire. With many years experience in the industry, Browns were looking for a new identity and over several meetings we helped develop their branding, stressing the fact that the family had been involved in the business for many, many years. The logo needed to show their roots, having the traditional three balls, while having a modern edge. Consideration was made as to how the branding would work on various levels in shop fronts etc.

As the business grew we worked with their in house web developer to bring the right image to their website.

Debbie from Brook Farm came to us in 2006 looking to have a logo designed to get her new nursery plans off the ground, giving her an identity to present to planners and banks to get things rolling. We devised a brand identity that reflected the fact that the nursery is on a farm and the children get to play with animals! A cow with wellies! Stationery and business cards were designed

Once plans were underway a simple site was developed to enable parents to sign up, and a leaflet and further print material to hand out in the area. When the nursery was up and running in 2008 we redeveloped it, adding galleries of shots and a parents area that could be updated easily.

Feel Design, working with MartinGary productions, have been filming for Cundall Manor School over the past few weeks, to produce a web video and DVD to promote the school. School activities have been recorded, seeing Gary, one of the camera operators trying to outrun a group of rugby players while strapped to a steadicam!

In addition to this fiming we met with Stephen Fry, (an ex-teacher at the school!) to record a voicover. This was shot at the QI studios in London and gave us the opportunity to see filming of the Christmas show! Stephen very kindly volunteered his time and services when asked, something we at Feel Design, and at Cundall are extremely grateful for him taking time out from his busy schedule.

The film also features contributions from Sir Ian Botham, who has longstanding family connections with the school and is now in post production with a launch expected in late June.

The video marks a move further into digital and online video/multimedia, reflecting changes in the marketplace, allowing more complex media to be streamed as well as distributed on DVD. Further projects planned are a web interactive video project for Experia and a series of short “webverts” for various clients. Gary is now working with the Feel Design team, providing a wider range of media services in-house to both new and existing clients.

The Battlebox Company came to Feel Design looking for branding and a website. As a start up company, selling toys and games for boys ,with an old fashioned outlook they needed an identity to reflect this.

We came up with a retro 1930s-40s identity of English countryside images and Spitfires. This was put onto printed media and onto a Flash based e-commerce website, which was built in the form of a book, allowing users to browse through the products in an old fashioned way! The site immediately proved popular with its target audience, standing out from other dull sites selling army surplus gear, and generated interest in the company.

“Feel Design provide a very personal service with a real flair for creating something a little different from the norm. Their attention to detail and design ideas were truly original and I would thoroughly recommend them, Feel Design are head and shoulders above any competitors that I have come across providing a first class service.”

Sarah and Jeff came to Feel Design having seen some of our other work, and were impressed enough to ask us to design branding , print work and a website for their holiday cottage business in Masham.

We created a clean, modern look for the design, but used a traditional colourscheme to reflect the design of the cottage. A 6 panel leaflet was created using photography from a days photo shoot and from their existing shots of the area. We also designed a range of stationery and stickers for promotion.

The website was designed to be easily updated – adding local news and events and changing the booking calendar to show available days. We added galleries of photos and advised on content to improve search engine visibility.

We’d like to claim that the booking that came through from the website less that 12 hours after launch was as a result of this – but – to be honest – it was probably a fluke (although we hope the design swung them when they found it!)

“We initially approached feel design as we were impressed by the quality and diversity of the websites they had created. Once we met with James and saw him at work our minds were made up! James and his team are now in the process of designing a second website for us for another of our businesses, which says it all really. “

Redcape approached Feel Design in 2006, asking us to create a website to replace their existing one, adding e-commerce to sell their range of dog grooming products and shampoos.

A website was designed, using their logo as a starting point, and adding stock images of dogs. The site needed to sell products to professional groomers and the general public. The site had to reflect a clean, simple identity and allow the client to add products easily. It made its first sale minutes after being launched!

In 2008 we designed a brochure to sell their range of products at Crufts. The work was quickly turned round, and many of the product shots were taken by Feel Design. The brochure proved a great success at the show and has helped grow Redcapes business.

The site had to be easily updatable and allow users to purchase tickets quickly and reliably, allowing many users to access the site at the same time – a requirement in this industry. This site was developed over the years and has continued to expand, with print design for stationery and ticket holders.

We were then asked to develop an identity for a new ticket company they were setting up, based abroad in Dubai, selling large numbers of tickets for sporting, music and theatre events.

The company has also developed other sites with us, including a Russian language version. We have provided Photoshop training for them to enable them to add and edit their own images.

Feel Design have been working with Snow-Home since 2002 when we built their first site, a simple website, designed to promote their new business, established the previous year.

After a while this site was expanded on to add new product information, then a new design was introduced to allow online purchases. This proved successful and in 2007 it was decided build a full content managed website, allowing SnowHome to add their own products and photography and use the InTouch mail shot system. At the same time their logo was revamped, tweaking the font to a more current look, and making it bolder, whilst retaining the initial snowflake design which had proved popular over the lifetime of the business.

Over the last 6 years we have also produced a range of print materials such as brochures and mailers as well as press advertisements in various interiors magazines.

‘”I run a contemporary homeware shop and used Feel Design in July 2002 to design and build a web site for my business. I wanted the site to reflect the spirit of the business and to give me a stylish web presence. After several meetings with Feel Design I felt confident in their ability to meet my requirements.
I was not disappointed; I am more than pleased with the results and the efficient service throughout, I now have a web site that has been praised by customers and I feel represents real value for money. I am currently using Feel Design for brochure work and would not hesitate to recommend them to other clients.”

Feel Design were approached in 2005 by BT, via a recommendation, to produce a series of multimedia presentations to detail the features of their new range of phones.

The presentations were to replace the old Powerpoint system they used to get information to salesmen and also as a point of sale display in high street shops.

They needed to explain all the features, quickly and simply, and be e-mail able, which, at the time meant keeping the file size below 5MB.

This was achieved, even though the files included a voiceover and 3D interactive animation.

With advances in technology now – Papervision would have been used to allow full interaction with the phones in all planes, but at the time this was cutting edge!

“I found James Blundell, the Director of this business, very helpful, professional and easy to deal with. The work was completed well within the deadline date at real value for money costs! I have no hesitation in recommending Feel Design !”
