Staffing changes March 2009
Changes are happening at our Goldsborough office. Andrew Munden, who has been a full time designer since November 2007 is moving down to London in April. He will continue to freelance for Feel Design on long term projects he is involved in but due to the increasing size of the business we now require at least two full time staff in the main office to cater with the workrate.
Luckily we have taken a new employee into the fold. Helen Burrell is an old contact of Feel Design - having first worked with her in 2003 we have kept in touch and her animation and Illustration skills will benefit the studio greatly, especially with the new animation directions we are moving in!
Helen starts full time in the summer when she leaves her current post in teaching but will be working part time here before then.
Best of luck to Andrew and his girlfriend Sammi when he goes down south!
Daylite Touch Beta testing
We are also really pleased to announce that - along with 7 other companies who are long term users of the client management software for Mac, Daylite - that we have been chosen as beta testers for Daylite Touch - the iPhone ready add on application which combined with the new Daylite server we are also beta testing will mean that our client/project details can be available to all our freelancers over the internet - allowing tasks and appointments to be allocated and marked as completed remotely, either from the freelancers office or from an iPhone.
Feel Design have been long term users of Daylite (since 2005) and rely heaviliy on it to manage leads and projects, holding all our client details and linking them to projects and opportunities with associated tasks, appointments, notes, forms and files. As we have expanded it has expanded with us - with each team member having a login into the system and being able to see individual tasks which can be marked as complete, with the project leader able to oversee all tasks on a project. It has been, and continues to be a valuable asset to our software collection.
